Liv Torc and Beryl the Feral bring For Our Sins to Exeter Phoenix (news)
11th January 2010Join Wondermentalist's Liv Torc and Beryl the Feral this Valentine's Day for a sinful evening of passion, poetry and much-needed perspective.
The pair will be performing their acclaimed two-woman show, For Our Sins, at the Exeter Phoenix on February 14.
Expect a hugely entertaining and comic journey through the seven deadliest of modern emotions.
Liv told WOSW: “For Our Sins is funny, raw and real. It’s poetry that’s easy to understand without being stupid.
“It pushes buttons – but in a way that tickles and often pokes. It’s also a little bit sexy and a big bit entertaining.”
Liv and Beryl are both Poetry Slam Champions and active members of the hugely successful Wondermentalist Cabaret, and it’s thanks to the latter that their comedic and poetic talents have become so popular with local audiences.
Founder of Wondermentalist and Radio 4 poet Matt Harvey describes Liv and Beryl as "warm, cheeky, clever and disarmingly frank - two of my favourite poet performers".
See for yourself at the Phoenix on February 14. Call 01392 667080 for booking details.
