Two Spot Gobi to launch debut album with intimate Plymouth show (news)

24th March 2009

Two Spot Gobi will launch their debut album, Everywhere You Should Have Been, at an intimate show at Plymouth's Barbican Theatre on Saturday, April 11.

The band have had a phenomenal year so far - first being special guests at an Oscars aftershow party with Michael Buble and Olivia Newton John in Hollywood, then being invited so play five support dates on tour with No 1-selling singer/songwriter Jason Mraz.

They've also just got back from a couple of incredible shows in Portugal - one in a converted bull ring in Lisbon, and the other at the Coliseu in Porto. Both gigs were to sell-out crowds of around 5,000 - see video.

Their Barbican show, however, will be a more intimate affair - in fact, there are only 120 seats in the venue.

The lads will be performing an acoustic set as well as an electric set and there will be a glass of wine on hand, plus a one-off chance to buy a copy of the album for whatever donation you think appropriate.

Tickets are £9 and £7 concessions and are available from the B Bar (though the show is in the theatre itself) on 01752 242021 or www.ticketweb.co.uk
